I. Applicable Scenarios#
- Use Obsidian as the main text editor
- Need to look up individual words or phrases during the writing process

III. Settings#
- Check the mobile mode to reduce web ads
- Add search engines
- Check first, enter Bing Dictionary in the middle, and enter
https://cn.bing.com/dict/search?q=
at the end - Check first, enter Baidu Chinese in the middle, and enter
https://dict.baidu.com/s?wd=
at the end - This way you have added Bing Dictionary and Baidu Chinese as two search engines
- Check first, enter Bing Dictionary in the middle, and enter
IV. Instructions#
- Right-click after selecting text in Obsidian
- Select Baidu Chinese or Bing Dictionary from the right-click menu and click
- The search results will open in a new tab
- You can drag this tab to the left or right sidebar and pin it
- The tab will be automatically replaced when searching again
- This plugin can replace some functions of the surfing plugin
